I know it's a cool site. I told you, the application for my roleplay was EXIGENT. I drown in that site a lot to recollect information ~~and the HTML is so pretty, you seriously don't want to see the information website of Poland~~.

WELL IT'S STILL A STUPID POSTER FULL OF FAIL AND MORE FAIL. And amazingly appropriate for a friends banner, I guess xD

That other poster was by the same party, when we had to vote about keeping the billaterals with the EU and expand them to those three new countries I forgot which ones. THEY LOST THIS ONE! I AM STILL SO FULL OF GLEE ABOUT THAT ONE and just for a little moment, I hated Switzerland a little less.

Ok, so, I don't really mind the neutrality. And I'm not being all pro-EU, either. It's just that the country is more or less governed by the rich people? And those usually are very nationalistic/right-winged. Can you imagine? They are constantly trying IN ALL SERIOUSNESS to strike-out the anti-racism law out of the constitution. They went nuts when the federal court decided that voting about who gets swiss nationality and who doesn't wasn't constitutional. They bring out POSTERS WITH SHEEPS. The reason why they didn't let a woman candidate for the latest open spot in the federal council? "There are already enough women in there" (3 out of 7).
THEY MAKE ME RAGE. AND THEY HAVE THE MAJORITY! AND THEY ALWAYS WIN THE ELECTIONS/VOTATIONS BECAUSE EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY IS JUST TOO STUPID/NARROW-MINDED.

But I sure do love the rest. And don't mind living here. Really |D

I KNOW. NO COUNTRY IS PERFECT. But i mean, your streets are CLEAN, you're neutral right now, and who the hells likes their government? isn't like, THE WORLD ruled by rich bastards?

But "the rest", the part that you love of your country is A HELL BIG REST. BIG BIG REST

Nah, I get your point. I'm really grateful for the stability, begining with how this whole economic crisis doesn't seem to affect us as much as other countries. It's just, the prosperity here was mainly build on foreign labour, yet we treat them like crap. Switzerland has the highest quota of foreigners in Europe, but that's not because we're so open, it's because getting that stupid passport is like a quest for the holy grail. I mean, we have a whole generation of secondos, who don't get the swiss nationality despite being born here. Theoretically, they could be booted out anytime.
It's these kind of things that bug me the most.
But I think they're begining to understand that we can't go on just being to ourselves. At least the more moderate parties. Look what the G20 did to the bank secrecy.

NOT ELECTIONS, VOTATIONS! MORE THAN ONCE EVERY YEAR, ABOUT REALLY INSIGNIFICANT STUFF SOMETIMES! IT GETS REALLY TIERING, THUS NOBODY GOES TO VOTE, THUS THE RIGHT PARTIES WIN! On the other hand, once in a blue moon, the people is being reasonable, so I guess it's not all bad, and there is still hope. ~~which will be lost forever if this thing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minaret_controversy_in_Switzerland) passes, I swear.~~

You know, I find it kind of interesting that you think more of the 'opportunity'-side of this whole initiative/referendum deal, while I rather see all the cockblocking that it produces.

Well, it's both things at the same time. But i think we're just too negative that we just see the good things that we don't have, and the bad things that we do.

Yes! Nose surgery. But really, i don't complain about our princes, i mean, they are really nice people, they are not guilty of being born in the family they were born, and they are really thoughtful and decent people ~~the UK can't say the same, can they?~~
