With the 'code' Japan invented, the kareriten. Basically, there's little sings and whatsnot spiked through the whole text which tell you how the chinese signs have to be read in japanese order(like this) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanbun#Example). Unfortunately, what sounds like a good idea is a system WEIRD AS FUCK. Then, there all the grammatical additions the text needs to be understood in japanese, sprinkled on top. JUST BECAUSE.


Also, hey, la Divina Commedia is totally cheating, yo. I mean, I'm a native French/German speaker, yet I wouldn't understand anything from the 14th century of ANY of those countries. (that, and their spelling was kinda WEIRD =D )
